It gave our Creative Director, Steve Wills, a great deal of pleasure at Urban Splash’s recent 25th anniversary celebrations to see some of the projects he’d completed when commissioned whilst the renowned developer was in its early teens.
One such project was a 100+ page annual report which demonstrated that the pioneering attitude shown towards urban regeneration was also at work when entrusting a fledgling agency (at the time) with such an important and comprehensive job!
Centring on the concept of ‘views’ – a celebration of achievements and the opinions of those helping to deliver them – the highly individual annual report showcased their stunning portfolio of award-winning developments along with the year’s financial information.
Particular design highlights included the ‘bookmark’ ribbon with protruding Urban Splash logo and the powerful use of vivid colour punctuating pages with specially-commissioned black-and-white photography.
Owing a debt of gratitude to the pioneering spirit that is Urban Splash, Steve remains an avid fan – here’s to the next 25 years of one of The North’s true innovators!
