Taking control of digital commerce

Following the sale of Leeds-based digital search agency, Epiphany, Shane Quigley set about creating Shift – an e-commerce platform which includes massive global fashion brands such as Jimmy Choo, DKNY, Belstaff and Lacoste within its client base. The product has proved a great success, also aiding Matalan’s transformation into a serious high street fashion brand.

Engaged to create Shift’s brand identity, our work focussed around two core attributes – the online operating environment and the transactional relationship clients have with the platform. The simple, timeless mark gains its credence and uniqueness by replacing the ‘I’ in with a forward-slash – something inherently related to online – whilst the distinctive brand patterns reinforce the notion of interactions, multiplicity and connectivity.
