Honouring the chosen ones


Next year celebrating its 70th anniversary, Variety was one of the first UK charities to be founded especially for children and young people. Believing that all children should have an equal opportunity to reach their potential regardless of circumstances, the charity in part fundraises through events – the annual ‘Legends of Industry’ awards being one of its regional showpieces.

According to the client, we have been instrumental in taking Legends to the next level – the new brand identity and particularly its ‘doing good’ halo metaphor becoming synonymous with the achievements and incredible generosity of award recipients. Substance continues to work with Variety, the Children’s Charity on this project and others.
